For best results, apply a generous amount of Daily Hydrator to all exposed areas of skin 15–20 minutes before going outside. Be sure to reapply every one to two hours, and after swimming, sweating, or towel drying.
Mineral products leave a white residue. Tallow, bees wax, and shea butter products are hard to rub in and often leave a residue. Sun Milk was developed and tested to do away with these issues. Once you “shake to milk” your Sun Milk it will come out white, but as you will see and unlike our competitors, Sun Milk blends perfectly and easily onto your skin leaving no residue. Sun Milk is naturally NOT waterproof. The reason for this is simple: in order to create a “waterproof product” further harsh chemicals have to be added – not something we would ever do. That said, Sun Milk is an oil-based Daily Hydrator so you will know when it’s no longer on your skin, and then you simply reapply.

We tested and developed Sun Milk in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, elevation 6,225 feet. That is the elevation of Lake Tahoe, however our testing was done in our home at 6,850ft. Elevation is important because it significantly affects the UV index. At higher altitudes, the atmosphere is thinner and absorbs less UV radiation. This means that UV levels increase as you go higher, making sun protection even more important in mountainous areas. We created Sun Milk in the altitude of the High Sierras, a testing and proving ground you won’t see in any other product.
